From the SS1999 collection, this iconic lambskin suede leather Vareuse shirt features the signature six-hole buttons on the cuffs. Further, the top has a plunging V-neck, which is possibly one of the most iconic details defining Martin Margiela's era at Hermès. This distinctive neckline can be found in nearly every collection throughout his tenure, adapted into different shirts, dresses and outerwear.

Martin Margiela understood that the Hermès woman didn’t want to carry visible logos. Instead, he designed buttons using six holes when stitching, which forms a subtle ‘H’.

Kindly note that the labels are missing as it has been previously worn inside out.
